Jerome Charmet

University of Warwick

Dr Jerome Charmet, is an Associate Professor at WMG, University of Warwick. He received his postgraduate training (MSc) in biomedical engineering at the University of Bern, Switzerland, and his PhD from the University of Cambridge, UK. He joined the University of Warwick in 2016 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2018. Dr Charmet’s current research focuses on translational microfluidics for application in personalised medicine. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in microfluidics and biosensors as well as microfabrication and manufacturing processes. He was a Royal Society of Chemistry Lab on a Chip Emerging Investigator (2019) and a was elected member of the EPSRC Early Career Forum for Manufacturing Research in 2018.
